The Brighton On East is once again OPEN for business.
A complete renovation of the restaurant welcomes new and long-time patrons, with updates to the menu as well. Great care has been taken to respect the traditions and heritage of both the building and the business, as the new owners, CW Gregory and Michael Amalfi Jr., bring a mix of tastes and charm to The (new) Brighton on East.
Best friends since their days at McQuaid Jesuit High School, in Brighton, CW and Mike have been partners in a number of business ventures since their graduation from college, keeping their sights on a perfect restaurant opportunity in the area. The Brighton On East was just that.
Originally
opening in 1861, The Brighton Hotel sprung up around the need for
citizens and traders to find a home cooked meal and a warm bed on
their travels. Over the years, the original town center of Brighton
at the corner of East and Winton was annexed by the City. In fact,
The Brighton is one of only a small number of historic Brighton
buildings still standing today.
Still, The Brighton
On East is synonymous with good food at reasonable prices in
a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Brighton On East has had
many loyal customers over the years. People tell us stories of sharing
lunches and dinners with several generations of friends and family.
Some received their marriage proposals here and return to celebrate
birthdays, anniversaries and more.
Under the new ownership of CW Gregory and Mike Amalfi Jr., The Brighton On East has once again been reborn with new décor, an expanded menu and a well-stocked bar.
All menu items are made from the finest, freshest ingredients. Our
meats are USDA choice and cooked just the way you like it. Fish
and seafood are brought fresh to Rochester daily. If there is something
you don't see on the menu, please ask your server. We will try to
accommodate any special requests.
The Brighton
On East is also the perfect destination after a night out on the town. Chances
are it's right on your way home. So, even if you want a full dinner,
a light bite or a spectacular dessert, head to The Brighton On East.
We hope you enjoy
your dining experience and visit often.
